Associates Award for Artistic Expression
On April 13th, 2026 Pepe received a special recognition from The University of Southern California, where he teaches at the Classical Guitar department in the Thornton School of Music.
The award, the 2026 Associates Award for Artistic Expression, was given to him at USC 45th annual Academic Honors Convocation in Town and Gown on the University Park Campus.
Pepe was one of only two faculty members chosen to receive this award.
It is the highest honor the university faculty bestows on its members for significant artistic impact.
